What is your Favorite Hobby Specific tool?

So as I was working at the shop today I had the pleasure of using two of my favorite tools. A campagnolo chain pin tool and a wheels manufacturing bearing press. The fit and finish on these tools is impeccable, and the machining is crisp and exact. I have cheaper versions of each, and while the premise of the tools are not terribly complex, the quality of the tool makes a huge difference. Of course I am preaching to the choir.

So what is your favorite hobby or work specific tool? Something that won't be found in the toolbox of the masses or fall under the "general hand tool" category.

Prometheus machine, it weighs gunpowder to the grain and dispenses the charge into the case.

So that is the same as the PACT dispenser?

op, as a fellow biker, (mountain) I have accumulated several bike specific tools. I have been wrenching my own bikes for years and have done about everything except build a wheel.
Admittedly, I have cheaped out on my bike tools so therefore do not have a favorite. I appreciate your post - it has given me a reason to start upgrading. :) Seriously, I have been considering upgrading my old "price point" hex wrenches to something like PB swiss or Wera. Do you have a favorite hex and torx?

I have a flex head hex bit driver that was used for putting together shelving units in a retail store. Opto if anyone has used their systems before. It’s one size, but I use it on my Genisis oscillating tool because it happens to be the right size.

If I can get a pic up, everyone will wonder why someone didn’t make a set of them this way.

I am a big fan of silca. Both L and and T wrenches. Though pbswiss is jsut as good. The silca L allens come with Torx bits. I need to buy a new silca set as I am using bondhus L wrenches and birzman p wrenches. (On a budget I appreciate both).

I like to get away form big blue for tools. Pedros has some neat stuff, including a set of T handle wrenches you should look into for your hex needs. I would stay away from P handle pedros though. I have destroyed a few of the overmolded grips. Also Birzman has some neat offerings as far as the cassette, BB, etc. go.

If you want some nice quality stuff look into Abbey tools as well.

I think it say something like "oh ****! ****! Please for the love of god quit beating me! No no no don't stick that red hot metal on me! Just kill me now!"

I would have to say mine is my tig welder. I love welding and when I dont have anything real to weld up I practice welding

I believe this is a magnifier used when working with electronics. Could be wrong.
Lol, that looks almost exactly like what they used when doing my root canal. I was going to offer him a willing subject to practice on.
