Above 1200 Sq/FT Buick Sales and Service Garage 1936

Applied one coat of matte polyurethane to the beadboard ceiling mostly for sealing purposes but boy did it bring out the color and grain.

Applied 2 coats of polyurethane over the stain. First coat was MinWax Matte finish but it was just too flat so went with two parts MinWax Matte to one part MinWax Satin for the second coat. Pretty pleased with results.

Here ya go... Just had some decompressive lumbar laminectomy that didn't go as well as the doctors said it would and taking longer to get over, again not as the doctors said. I think the big takeaway from it all is I just need to act more my actual age rather than my shoe size. So...

Question re: applying LI 6600MMA concrete sealer under and over a painted logo

Thought I’d do a little follow up (a year later) on this and maybe save anyone else who might consider doing it the heartbreak of it not coming out as well as hoped. The day after applying the second coat of colored mma in the office area, we painted/stenciled in the Buick logo. Left a fan...

Best wax for Legacy HD6600-MMA Concrete Sealer

ordered, thanks Scotty @LegacyIndustrial good doing business again. BTW the Legacy HD6600-MMA is holding up well at year one! Spilled a quart of stain yesterday, would have been a disaster had it not been for the Legacy.

Best wax for Legacy HD6600-MMA Concrete Sealer

Is Cherry Wax still good for use on Legacy HD6600-MMA or is there better. How "glossy" is the gloss Cherry. Is "matt" pretty much the same as the unwaxed sealer.

Mr Cool Remote Thermostat set temperature not in sync with temperature in building

Haven't tried the phone app yet, was hoping to get it working with the actual thermostats first. We're having a heat wave here in Georgia so will consider those points and go from there when it gets cold enough to run heat again.

Mr Cool Remote Thermostat set temperature not in sync with temperature in building

Onboard thermostat? What are you speaking of, the wall thermostat? Or is there a thermostat in the air handler. I’m probably going to try setting the wall thermostat up tomorrow. Hope it doesn’t open up a new can of worms

Mr Cool Remote Thermostat set temperature not in sync with temperature in building

Tha's exactly what I was thinking as I was climblin down that 12 ft ladder munchr. That the unit should keep pumping to meet the temperature at the remote location so if it was low ie 6 ft off the floor it should keep pumping to meet the set temperature at that point. And I agree about the fans...

Mr Cool Remote Thermostat set temperature not in sync with temperature in building

Remotes set on 12 and 8 ft ladders. Will check and report back in am. The ladders are offset from the units more than it appears, iow not directly in front of.

Mr Cool Remote Thermostat set temperature not in sync with temperature in building

that is the case, but I am checking room temperature at the same level (about 6 ft of the floor) as the remote thermostat is at. I'm thinking the heat is hanging out higher. If that's the case I have three ceiling fans I will be able to turn on to force it back down, Thanks for your input!

Mr Cool Remote Thermostat set temperature not in sync with temperature in building

Thanks roadking, yea I had read that article and had reset both systems, no obstructions etc. But have not hoisted the remote up to the ceiling. The office ceiling is 12 ft and the shop 14 so that may be it, all the heat is hanging up there. I'll sit the remote on top of a 12 ft ladder and...

Mr Cool Remote Thermostat set temperature not in sync with temperature in building

Installation of a DIY Mr Cool 36,000 in the shop area and a 12,000 in the office, all went fine. Both units are operating fine in heat mode with only one problem ocurring with both units. When I use the remote controls and set them to 74, use the Follow Me feature and lay the remotes about 20...

Need better air intake silencer/muffler for older Kobalt 80 gal 5HP 2 stage compressor

I'll need to pull the existing muffler and check actual cylinder head configuration against the adapter kit in the link below but although pricey it might be the answer to my search. https://mastertoolrepair.com/cylinder-head-rplcmt-kit-vt-01a8ae/ EDIT: Nevermind.... * Note: This product is...

Need better air intake silencer/muffler for older Kobalt 80 gal 5HP 2 stage compressor

Actually the Title only covers part of what I can use some advice on. I will be moving my old Kobalt 80 gal compressor from the old Buick barn lean-to to the welding shed of the Buick Sales and Service garage. It has always been LOUD but will be even louder in its new home. It's new home will...
