Looks like sand coming out of heater

Small electric heater to keep my shop from freezing up in the winter. It has some sort of sand looking stuff coming out of it. It is a cheap heater so wondering if it's the heating element coming apart. What is this stuff?

How do I use what I think is a ball joint press?

Says Miller Tools 9945. It was given to me as I work on a lot of Jeeps. It doesn't come with instructions but has a pamphlet in it that says Jeep JK (Wrangler 2007+) on it. Thanks, Mike

Started cutting concrete for 2 post lift.

Picked up a Bendpak XPR-10S. The concrete was cracked around where the post would go so out it comes. Following Mohawks guide for concrete size and rebar structure. Going to starting digging it out tomorrow. https://www.facebook.com/rick.lapkovitch/videos/866323993520847/?fref=mentions
