How do I use what I think is a ball joint press?

Says Miller Tools 9945. It was given to me as I work on a lot of Jeeps. It doesn't come with instructions but has a pamphlet in it that says Jeep JK (Wrangler 2007+) on it.

Thanks,
Mike

That's not a ball joint press. That is the set of adapters to make a standard ball joint press easier to use on Jeeps.

Those adapters are a life saver when swapping wrangler ball joints. Go rent a press at your local autozone or whatever and use it in conjunction with these adapters.

Because the wrangler ball joints are offset the normal adapters provided with the rental press make it a miserable job to swap ball joints...these adapters are worth their weight in gold

Miller makes most, if not all, of Chrysler specialty tools. Those are intended for a dealership. Nice score.

I believe Miller Tool is a division of OTC. I'm pretty sure the Miller ball joint press (C-4212F) my 1995 Dodge Ram factory Service Manual calls for is the same as OTC's large C-Frame press (#6736).

When I bought some Miller tools a few years back they were a division of SPX. A little googling found me this:
"Miller Special Tools, formerly a division of SPX, now Mopar Essential Tools and Service Equipment, a Snap-on company.
Mopar Essential Tools manufacturers the full line of OEM service equipment for the Mopar Brands, Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, RAM, and Fiat"

May or may not be true!
