I'd just get the business cards -- that helps with the personal pitches. There are lots of people who are doing the bare minimum to keep their cars going. The demand is there. I think the suggestion of doing work for people you know through school is a good one. Good luck!

The Skil 77 family is best for framing and general construction IMHO. I would not go back to a sidewinder style. If you do this for a living, a Mag 77 is probably better. If you do a lot of sawing in the rafters, a Skil 677 (6-1/2 inch blade) may be a good choice. The basic 77 is heavy. It...
