    Ceiling drywall

You can span 5/8 rock up to 24" oc. The hat channel would be at a drywall supply house that contractors go to. But wood will be cheaper. Also when you hangen the rock 3 screws in the field. That's 6 total on each stud. I've been hanging rock most of my life so that's what I would do.

What's the thing in front of the skill saw next to the drill? Is that a piece of train track? Other than that the roller stool is cool all by itself. I'm thinking you did good work.

Can you cut 6061 aluminum with a circular saw?

My old boss always said carbide will cut anything once. Being a carpenter I want to cut everything with my circular saw. I've cut diamond plate aluminum and it cut great. We always cut our closet tracks at work that way never had any problems.
