You're probably fine with the Earthquake but I don't have any first hand experience with them. At least you know there's no way they can be as bad as the Campbell Hausfeld stuff. If you have the extra scratch, I'd get the Aircat just for the quieter operation.

I have about a dozen of these and they have held up OK so far. One broken 1/4" clip but I would imagine that would have broken on the Craftsman version as well.

Agreed and Streamlight is a great company with tremendous customer service. I've also found that this flashlight washes up nice with some Fast Orange.
