Hunter RL Lift Rack for sale MD - $1800

I am selling a used Hunter model RL parallelogram style alignment rack. Particulars: Drive-on lift, with slide plates in rear, no front turntables or alignment bits It is older, and could use some "restoration" if you care how it looks, etc. I currently have it in my TINY 20w x 22d 2 car...

Gladiator Garage Gear Boxes for Sale - NIB

You are reading it right, but it is a crock. Amazon says 45 lbs, and if I had to guess before I saw the Amazon thing, I would have said 40-50. If it was 200, I don't think my wimpy body would be able to handle the boxes too easily...

Gladiator Garage Gear Boxes for Sale - NIB

Perhaps I can. If they are not sold before then, and they can fit in the truck, then I will bring them. I will be in Sarasota, so I am sure we could connect. How many would you want?

Gladiator Garage Gear Boxes for Sale - NIB

Brand new, never opened Gladiator Garage Gear boxes for sale. I have 11 of them. Only one box was ever opened just to take a look at the assembly process and is boxed back up. I bought them, and now I am moving to FL. Never got them built or installed and need to sell. I will sell for $50...

    Car suggestions/Advice... who me?

I'll put in another vote for an E46M3. I have owned my 2003 for 3 years now and I LOVE the car. I was a motorcycle guy before (both street and track), and recently went thru my annual mid-life crisis and almost got myself a track bike again, but with 4 little ones at home, just doesnt make...

any advice for raising garage door track?

www.diygaragerepair.com You can find bits, and even get advice, there. To do this RIGHT, you should get the appropriate track, use torsion springs not extension springs, and then either adapt your ancient opener with a bar, or preferably get a jackshaft opener like the liftmaster 3800.

    Worst tool description ever.

You actually contradicted yourself in this post. force * distance = torque lb (or lbf) * feet = lb-ft (hyphenated for convenience) lb * inch = lb-inch ounce * inch = ounce-inch Hence the use of "pound-feet" instead of "foot pounds". Pound feet is technically the "more correct" term, if...

    Help cutting fiber glass?

Abrasive machining is your friend with composites. Also, when done, wash down and shower with COLD water. You will only make the mistake of using hot water once!

    Subpanel and conduit question

Ok, perhaps I will check the local electrical supply house vs the big box store... Any recommendations or thoughts on the 60A vs 100?

    Subpanel and conduit question

Wow, you guys are geniuses! Seriously, thanks for the help with the stacked 4" box ideas or the larger Jbox. This solves my concerns over recessing the box but using surface mount conduit. On the box shown in that picture, are there knockouts that would also be outside the wall if you mount...

    Subpanel and conduit question

Ok, since I just scored a used Hunter alignment rack/lift for cheap on Craigslist (thread to follow in General section soon), I now have a need to run a subpanel up to my attached garage. I have been going back and forth between putting in a 100A panel vs 60A, but I think I have talked myself...

    Lighting for a 24' x 24' garage

That is why he said to "stagger" them in a row. Only way they will fit. I am thinking about doing this in my 22d x 20w garage, but might do 3 rows 2 fixtures each and see what that yields.

    New Febuary 10th lead law

Have they banned the sale of ALL toys and ALL children's clothing too? Based on the logic (or lack thereof) of the law, I would have thought so, but it does not appear that way. Doesnt make much sense...

Gladiator Wall cabinet on clearance at lowes

I stopped at my local Lowes (Newark, DE) after work today. Went to the back, marked price still $118, as it was on Saturday. I said what the heck, since everyone else was having luck, I threw one in a cart and took it to the front. There were 3-4 people in line at the register, and then 2...

Gladiator Wall cabinet on clearance at lowes

Went to my local store yesterday. They had a bunch of units, but marked at $118. I went to the service desk with the 5 digit number and talked to the rep there about what I was looking for. She keyed the numbers in, and the price came up at $118. She said if I could find some "documentation"...

    My Racedeck Install

The floor looks great! I am considering this for my "redo" of my ~20wx22d attached garage. I am planning a big detached build sometime down the road, but for now trying to make so with what already exists. Is there any way to "insulate" the floor under the racedeck? I am thinking even just a...
