    December 2011,concrete forms were stripped off the columns about 2 days after they were poured,then recovered with concrete blankets to insulate the green concrete from frost. The week before Xmas we backfilled and compacted around the concrete columns.

    I seem to have lost the pictures of the footers getting done. The columns had a bunch of rebar in them,we cut and bent the rebar on a portable cutter bender which worked well. We then formed up the columns and made a wooden jig to hold the anchor bolts in place.
