Craftman 33gal problems.... been reading a lot

50/60 hertz is the frequency of electricity. 60hertz is standard AL (aluminum wire) CU (copper wire) this is what kind of wire allowed to be used with the breaker. One breaker with an AL/CU can use either copper or aluminum wire, while the one listed with CU only can be used with copper wire.

    Suspended ceiling

Tony is that just a standard suspended ceiling or are the grid and panels a special type? Did you have to special order it from lowe’s? How much did it cost and what size is it?

    Suspended ceiling

I have an open ceiling (my trusses are exposed) the only reason I prefer not to use drywall is because I would still like to have access up there.

    Suspended ceiling

Normal tiles will sag over time from the humidity. But the main reason is when you open your overhead door and its windy out it blows the tiles upward. Buy using OSB there is enough weight that this doesn’t happing.

    workbench???

Of course:thumbup: Everybody that comes over always jokes as to how clean it is. They often ask if I ever do any work in there. The fact is I just can’t stand a dirty work area:wtf: When I do work on a project the tools are usually all over the place, but once complete everything goes back to...

The Viper Pit - Complete w/ Turntable!

I must say that is a nice place but I would take many garages on this forum over that one. I would rather have a place I can work in and is functional instead of a place were you stand and just look at something. A lot of people with that kind of money really miss out on the most enjoyable...

    workbench???

I’m looking for some ideas for a new workbench. What I have now is just a 3’ by 8’ bench with my sliding miter and scroll saw. I want to redo this area of my shop. I’m thinking of getting some ready made base cabinets with drawers and installing a new workbench on top of them. What I am looking...

    garage security

Guns, dogs, etc etc. Seems like the thieves have more protection against the law then we do as homeowners. Our legal system really needs an overhaul:headscrat

Craftman 33gal problems.... been reading a lot

Yes just the outlets. Yes you would use the same wire that is used on that circuit. Just remove standard plug and install a gfci outlet. Just remember when you wire the gfci’s in you will not use the load side of the gfci’s. So the hot lead that leads to your next outlet you will have to wire...

    garage security

When I had my pole barn built I had no windows installed for this purpose. I have a security system, which is silent and when tripped it will call my cell phone and pager. If I am home my dog is very alert and if need be Mr. colt (AR 15) is a good deterrent:bowdown:

Fox-forma gfci’s are also known to trip under a surge (load). It only needs to see a 5ma difference on neutral side to trip. First make sure you have nothing else running at the same time on that circuit. Before running a new circuit I would disconnect the gfci breaker in the main panel and...

    Flourescent Lights in 2-car

In my 24x32 garage I have 6 incandescent lights on one switch, which I turn on if I am just in there to grab something quick. If I am in there working (woodworking shop) I turn on my fluorescent fixtures, which are (4) 2-bulb four footers and (4) 2-bulb 8 footers, which light it up very nice. I...

I picked up a new toolbox...Pics of my garage !!

Nice boxes:) Why would you spend $24,000.00 on new boxes:shocking: I know its your choice and I would say you have a nice box already at a great price. Just remember it’s not the airplane it’s the pilot that makes it fly:headscrat

leave saw cuts in floor or fill them?

Mine did the same thing. Just goes to show you how well the saw cut controls and directs the crack as the cement shrinks when curing. I filled my saw cuts with filler out of a caulk gun. Before I filled them I check all the saw cuts and every inch of them had a hairline crack right down the...
