Dude has an Ausco D-1905, ser # 896, rated at 3000lbs. Says he bought it in the 70's and was fairly old then. I know nothing about Ausco, just trying to gauge what its worth, how old it is, rebuild kits, etc. Oh, he says it slowly leaks down under load. I have not seen it in person so these #'s...

I put an add on the local CL looking for vintage floor jacks and have a lot of folks offering their mech jacks. I don't have much of an interest in mech but have never owned one. What are your thoughts and experience?

Local has an "old American made" jack for sale. Obviously just been painted and he says it's leaking and needs new seals. Claims it's a 5 ton. I do not know my way around jacks much and just need some insight. Thanks in advance.
