    2014 Garage sale thread!

Not a spot welder. It is a Victor motorized cutting torch. The hoses hook to it like normal, but it has a cord for the 110 motor on it that drives the wheel. It works, but the wheel turns slow. Guess you could call it a lazy man's torch. Lol.

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Posted this a few weeks ago in the toolbox thread. Thought it fit better here. My dad had an old 1/2" SK set just like this and sadly most of it got ripped off 25 years ago. Luckily, I had a few of his sockets, breaker bar and T-handle in my possession. I happened across the same set he had...

    Amazon Bosch Deals

Thanks for the heads up on the deals! I ordered a few things and saved a bunch. The 20.00 off couldn't be used on my order, but I will be using the $50.00 Bosch $50.00 gift card rebate offer. Looks like Makita stuff has a bunch of deals over there too.

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Here is a recently purchased SK-Tools 1/2" drive set. My dad had this same set but it was stolen in the 90's. I had a few of the pieces and was lucky to find fairly complete set. It is missing the long breaker bar. Is in the garage somewhere, lol. I am going to restore this box as it has a few...

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

I posted earlier today a picture of an old box I picked up last night. Now,after looking through this thread,I believe my box is an older 60's Kennedy. There are no markings on the box. Did the Kennedy boxes just have a decal for their logo? Thanks for any help.Brad

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Here's my vintage Craftsman upper and lower boxes when I brought them home. Friend bought them new in early 70's. Also a pic of the top box repainted. How do I find their vintage? Can keys be made for the old locks? Last picture is my 1st toolbox I got as a kid in the early 70's. Anyone know...
