Recommendation for a Compact Drill and Impact Driver (Hex) Tool set

So, I have a impact driver (hex shank) and power drill (round shank) and would like a larget set of universal bits for both. My use is a general light work around the house. I already have 3-4 of the small portable sets which cover 90% of my needs but want to have a large set for those random...

    Garage Heater Recommendation...

I have a 20'x20' insulated but detached garage in the NC mountains. The temp never gets higher than 85 so my focus is really on heat. Please keep in mind that I spend the winter months in FL so this is really summer/fall for temps ranging from 30-60 degrees for relatively short periods of time...

Where/What to buy for car stuck in pebble driveway?

It is complicated but the contractor waterproofed our house. The previous asphalt driveway ran straight towards the home so we wanted something to help reduce the water flow down the mountain. Hence the pebble/river rock. Ultimately, my MRS made the final call.

Where/What to buy for car stuck in pebble driveway?

We are having a war with the company that did our hardscaping/driveway. In short, they didn't put enough hard base on the bottom and put too much pebble/river rock so cars are getting stuck at the bottom of the driveway. Reference video: Video of Car Stuck in Driveway In the meantime, I was...

Space Heater Recommendation for Detached, 2-Car Garage, Spray Foam Insulated....

Last summer, we gutted our old 2-car wood frame garage at our vacation home and added spray foam along with a wood paneling interior so it is very well insulated. We went to the property last week and, obviously, it was cold inside. I would like to buy a portable electric space heater just to...

How can I get torsion spring recessed light to sit flush?

I am replacing some old torsion spring recessed lights which have discolored over time with new ones. Unfortunately, I can't get all of the new ones to hold flush and there is some gapping. These are the exact same size and setup (different brand). I replaced 3 of them: 1 sits perfectly. 1...

    Cheap Telecoping Extension Pole 20’+

I have a tree limb broke off and is resting (wedged) between 2 limbs. My idea is to use a telescoping pole and lift one end vertically so it can fall down. Can you suggest a pole with some type of U-shaped attachment that is over 20’ tall when extended and reasonably priced? This is likely a...

Great advice. I am now leaning towards the Uline Polyurethan chair linked above. It is always amazing to me that I post on the board with one direction in mind and inevitably you find flaws in my thinking and re-direct me to a better way. I love this forum!!!!!!

Need garage stool recommendation for 34" high workbench...

I ordered a 10-piece Newage Pro Cabinet set and was bummed to find out it didn't come with a stool even though there is one in the picture. Newage Setup What do you suggest? My workbench should be 34" in height once installed. My preference is something on wheels that is adjustable in height...
