    Useless tool gifts

    I guess I am not as critical as you guys... Though I would never use any of these gadget/gimmick tools for real wrenching, they can be handy in the toolbox I leave in the house. I dont like that motorized adjustable wrench... but the bionic wrench is fine for the house...

    Big-A lawnmower

    I bought a John Deere 125 last year. 20hp V-Twin Hydrostatic with 42" deck. I paid extra because I really wanted that V-Twin. A good compromise is the John Deere 115 (not available at Home Depot) 19.5hp hydrostatic with 42" deck. Not a V-twin.... but cheaper too :) I still love the sound of that...

    purchase MIG vs TIG?

    Don't buy that little Mastercraft unit... It is a Campbell Hausfield. Cheap welder. You would be much better off waiting and buying the Lincoln Mig Pak 15 at least. I have a Mig Pak 15 and dont regret it. Perfect for a hobby welder. Ive only been using flux core so far.

    Securing stainless sink in workbench cutout

    I deal with this stuff everyday. Just use a commercial grade clear silicone and glue it wherever you can then finish it with a small bead around the edge. You would be very surprised at how strong clear silicone is.

    OT: DriWash Solutions eh... that is a great product. Ive been using that stuff for years all the way up here in Quebec City.
