I'd do at least six. Mine is around 4 and is a pain some times. My top is not attached so a lot of the time I scoot the top over to help.

My buddy has an miller dynasty 200dx that I have used a bunch it rocks. I wanted my own machine but could not afford that much. I ended up with a miller diversion 180. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the dynasty but it welds very well. I'm happy.

For mill and lathe work mostly. Taking sharp edges off and what not. I have wanted to to try and make my own knifes as well. I bought some tool steel a while ago, so the stack of files I got might come in handy for that.

I raided 4 lowes today in slc. Found a few USA ones. Cleaned them all out.
