    Lets see your workbench

Here are a couple of workbenches that I traded away recently to get the big butcherblock monster I posted on the previous page... The Lyon bench was the nicer of the two - these things are built like tanks! This Equipto had some nice curves but was surprisingly lightweight as compared to...

Metal Cabinets vintage or homemade and no name toolboxes. got any to show please do

I'll see about posting a few more pictures of the Equipto for you, drives. As for the cabinets on the dolly/cart, that's a failed experiment as far as I'm concerned. The casters I used are plenty sturdy, but I used them because I got them cheap - and none of them lock! :-/ With as much...

Metal Cabinets vintage or homemade and no name toolboxes. got any to show please do

I'm not even halfway through this thread, and it's already one of my favorites! I was lucky to win this beautiful Equipto cabinet at an auction a few weeks back... it's a real beaut, and even came with a few odd bits 'n pieces in it! The lamp and the Equipto bench cabinet came from the...

    Lets see your workbench

Oooh, that looks mighty familiar - are the legs stamped ASI at the "ankles"? I just brought this number home over the weekend. It was a bench out of an old school shop class, complete with gum on the underside and everything! :-)

    Lets see those band saws!

Mine's the ubiquitous Delta 14" saw, but it came with a "big" 1hp motor. Seems most of them were sold with 1/2 or 3/4hp... I love this old machine!

Out of control single car garage

Yeah, for the lawn maintenance stuff and the bicycles... but I'm right there with you - I'm forever tripping over bicycles in my garage! :-/

I really enjoy Matthias' videos. That guy's always thinkin'... It helps that he has a good sense of humor, too!

    Lets see your workbench

Tell us a little more about that bench, wouldja? It looks like it was pulled out of a battleship... or an underground bunker! Love it!

    Josh from Minneapolis!

Hello from a fellow Twin-Citian. I feel your pain about the unfinished garage - mine's good for about three (nonconsecutive!) weeks of the year!

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT The Scooter Workshop

I just found your thread a few days ago and have been reading it through in my "spare" time. I'm definitely following along, and have really enjoyed your efforts thus far. I get the forum burnout thing - I'm here on a little "vacation" from my main hobbies and haunts - but I do hope you...

Show us your cool, "old" drill press

Man, I am jealous... That thing is all kinds of awesome! Bring it down to MN, wouldja? :)

    1947 Delta Unisaw Question

It looks original but I've never seen a blue Unisaw. Painted. Nice that it has the original motor cover still (they're fragile, and often missing). I bet he'll get close to his asking price for it. It'll need some good cleaning at minimum. Probably needs belts and may have a bad arbor...

Show us your cool, "old" drill press

Yeah, that's all too familiar... I didn't need one, either! :) But it really is a cool machine. The variable speed mechanism consists of a "cup and cone" assembly; speed is adjusted by moving the "cone" piece higher or lower on the "cup" drive.

Show us your cool, "old" drill press

Here's a nifty machine that followed me home a few months ago... It's a Hamilton Varimatic Sensitive drill press, in really nice original condition.

    Bowling Alley Workbench

That's a great looking bench! And I love the cabinets, too... I'm on the hunt for some secondhand Lista, but the competition around here seems pretty fierce! :-/

    The VISES of Garage Journal

Heh... :-) You'll sleep easier knowing that the "after" pic was taken before I'd bolted the jaws back into place - I had to get some new mounting hardware as the original bolts had been stripped out. All good now!
