    6-Point racheting wrenches

I don't "baby" any tool. I use my Gearwrenches like any other wrench. I had only considered the gearwrench-style, the laminated are too thick and wide. I think the "gearwrench " works are all made over seas. I resisted buying them for this reason, until I was given a set to use at work. Why...

MY VCT Tile turn white when wet

VCT Installation in Large Shop - Advice Needed

I used to lay VCT at work. Think of prep, like preping a car for paint. If you wax and buff the VCT a 1/32 crack will show. I spent 16 hrs of prep to lay 4 hrs. I don't believe you can over prep.

    Breaker Bars

I had a 70's era Craftsman that held up to much abuse. Jeep axle nuts, 8' pipe and 250lbs jumping on the end of the pipe. The nuts would hold and it was way cheaper than one piece axles. Alas, the 5 finger discount. I bet its still kicking snap-on **** somewhere.

About Cordless Tools - What does more VOLTS really get you?

I use a lot of drill/drivers at home/work. Between h/w I have a dozen Dewalt 18v tools and a few 14.4 Mil. If I were buying a general purpose driver and didn't need to stay in a family it would be the new 12v Milwakee. The 18v Dewalt is nice w/ Lith/ion.

Does a 1/4" air rachet need impact sockets?

I have a 1/2 impact in air and battery, and the corresponding sockets but they're big and heavy for a lot of stuff. I'm thinking about 1/4" but do I need to buy impact sockets?

    Advice needed

Check on buying the DeWalt impact as a 'bare tool'. Several vendors I deal with sell tool this way. Most builders have half a dozen chargers and batteries.
