Here is a bonus question: What kind of coat does Thomas like to put on some of his favorite things?

    VA Garage Gang

Hey guys - Welcome from Annandale. Nice to see some action on this thread. We really need to have another local Meet and Greet this spring to put faces with names. Jim VB - I was down your way today picking up a friend for her Chemo infusion. Each time I visit that part of town I'm impressed...

    Garages at Night Thread

At the track this is my garage. This shot is in the paddock at VIR and with a blown engine, my last day/night of the season... but there is always next year. R1chy Edit - Looks like it is time for a new crate motor and push this block into the back of the barn for a later rebuild.

    Let's See Your Garage Dog

Sorry for the delayed response, we were on vacation in Nova Scotia (see below). We used Homeward Trails rescue to get Darby and when we got him he had heart worm and sadly he had to have the full treatment to get over them. But as you can see it hasn't effected him at all. In the first one...

My dream too, I could look at the picture of your car for hours. It brings me back to my youth ... I'm sitting as close as my parents would allow me to a console Zenith TV trying to be in there with Batman and Robin.

    Let's See Your Garage Dog

Our previous Lab Kirby for a period had occasional seizures and she was a cancer survivor (our vet has a new wing financed by her treatments). Regardless she could out last us walking on the beach, in the Vienna Woods or up and down the Alps. She was even strong enough to walk two miles the...

    Let's See Your Garage Dog

Thanks, have you posted a picture of your Lab? Darby is our second Lab (Kirby was almost 17 when she passed away). Darby hangs with me most everywhere and loves to go to the track with me. He likes it best when I can position the rig so he can watch the track out the front window and is...

    Let's See Your Garage Dog

At the track Darby is my pit boss and routinely we walk the track before an event so he can advise me on the driving line. Here he is at MOSPORT last weekend. This shot was taken after he told me not to leave rubber like this on the front straight. Following his advise, I didn't.

    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

For those of us that use their jack at the track, the appeal is the low weight of the aluminum jack. Not so much while in the pit or paddock, but more to keep the weight down in car hauler/trailer. With all the stuff we drag to the track it starts to add up so you start evaluating everything...

Ah haa, so there is a chance something will get powder coated then? I wouldn't want to be disappointed. I'm also waiting to see how you weave in the SM shirt. R1chy

Is there a "show your backyard shed" thread?

KELLHAMMER - That is a great looking shed. Do you have other views and build plans? Did you ever build it and if so do you have pictures you could post?

My Grandfather had a slight twist on this same thought, he would profess that "a person makes their own luck" through being prepared, hard work, paying attention to the details, covering all the bases, etc... I've benefited by his wisdom and I appreciate/admire when others have lucked into...

Hope your health is improving and you're able to get back out in the shop. I'm also late to this thread, said many times before but can help and state WOW!! +1 It is nice to see that you are now enjoying the fruits of your labor, good for you. But for all the things you can buy or build...

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Restored 1930's Auto Shop

Chris - I just noted the above within another thread - 140 x 64 Family Back Yard Garage. If this information is going to be on the test, then I'm going to have to devote a whole lot more time to GJ reading and the wife is not going to be happy with me!! R1chy

OK, but the real question is did you send it in to get powder coated? Also, can you ask Chris if this is going to be on the test?
