    Window install question

Well install the door first, once you open a can of foam you use it all or lose the rest.

    Plywood Question

That Freud blade most likely wont work on the festool the arbor size will be different you have to go to rockler or woodcraft or order it online. Do that first tho so you don't give a friend back a dulled blade.

    Window install question

X10 on the window and door foam, it's in a light blue colored can with the same yellow cap. Take the shims out. You only need to do that if you installed it as a replacement window. You said you screwed it all the way around implying you had a nailing flange. If this is the case remove the shims...

Richard (Canadian Made) Pry Bars at Ollie's Bargain Outlet

Don't no, but the hell if anyone doesn't take a hammer to a pry bar, how else are you going to get under what you are about to pry.

Toolbox haul - what can I sell them for?

Not trying to be rude either, but not a lot of flipping potential in them. Mostly because the Craftsman is a cheapo, and there's lots of cman boxes going around on craigslist here.

    Can't understand the Festool Kool-Aid

I understand what youre saying about warranty not being quality, but I've seen far more older Milwaukee/Dewalt/Makita tools than Festool laying around. It also comes into the snap on dilemma. I know a lot of people that DONT abuse their snap on and reserve it for harbor freight POS stuff, and...

    Can't understand the Festool Kool-Aid

Oh the Festool dust extractors, are we really talking almost 100% dust proof, like you can do in inside a living room and not worry about dust or still you should be reserving it for outdoor use?

    Can't understand the Festool Kool-Aid

    Kitchen Cabinet Refinishing Fiasco

The woodwork is pretty decent for a homeowner, but I have no idea at all why you went to spray them white. They looked way better in the cherry and matched the granite better imo. I would have perhaps just stained the additional molding you put up to match the cabinets.

    door trim and drywall offset

I have a similar problem, except the house walls are crooked, and only giving me a 1/4 inch gap on one side, the other side is flush. Would caulk and paint be the way to go there?

Using 10ga thhn with 12ga Romex

See ive always read that solid is less prone to overheating, and a lot harder to screw up. I try to use solid whenever pulling it isn't an issue. Romex is NOT legal in conduit here in VA unless the conduit is open and just used to pass through something and provide added protection, i.e. when...

Home Depot Rigid Impact Driver $79 w/ free shipping

No offense, but if its recondiitoted and battery is only for one year, it's not really worth much. Better off paying double for a milwaukee with 2 batteries and a 5 yr warranty.

Using 10ga thhn with 12ga Romex

Yes, the 10 is better for you, but make sure you have enough room in the conduit. Is it solid or stranded, stranded is a lot easier to pull but I'd go with a solid for its better performance. Better question is how was it wired wrong, seems like you are just replacing wire with newer wire. You...

Are ball bearing slides worth it

Plus most tool boxes I've seen lock, I always lock them or at least push them into the detents when rolling them and don't open a ton of drawers at once. I can't strap it to my will because I move it often.

    Can't understand the Festool Kool-Aid

The miter gauge on the milwaukee is digital and far superior. It's usually compared since they say its capable of doing everything a 12 miter can so. Ooh, a 30 day money back guarantee, what store doesn't let you return in 30 or 90 days if you aren't satisfied. A 12 miter is very handy when...

Are ball bearing slides worth it

Thanks zcling! Is there a good better best way to clean ball bearing slides or just wd40 work fine? My brother had the great idea of putting paper shredder oil on them to lube them and now they slide like poop, empty or heavy.
