Made a quick trip to HF. Got a die grinder, set of 3/8" drive torx sockets, a welding magnet and a 15/16" pickle fork for my air hammer. Also got a low profile creeper (not pictured).
Nick we seriously need pics of the JD. This year I hope to add a compact tractor to the fleet myself. Hoping to score as nice a find as you did. Especially since yours is a diesel. Thats going to be great!
Dave that looks cool. This one has the same electric motor setup so it runs and you can see each cylinder go through all 4 cycles. I'd love to find a vintage model engine like yours.
Helped the 10yr old put together his Haynes V-8 working model. If you have a kid/grandkid with an interest in wrenching and haven't gotten them one of these yet, you need to. Great fun!
I had a pretty decent haul this year. Diehard battery starter/charger from my in-laws, Craftsman US-made metric deep well socket set from my dad, Generac 5500w genset from the wife.
Still no pics, but I replaced the front axle u-joints on my Dad's XJ and the driver's side front shock on my mother in-law's 06 Grand Cherokee. The FIL had already finished the passenger side shock before getting called away.
