My biggest hangup on the TP Tools is that it seems a lot smaller inside vs the Eastwood. I think that the lack of top loading on the Barrel Blaster takes it out of the running for me.

Well I've spent some time disassembling, sand blasting, and painting the drill press. Had to drill out the broken off old handles and get new ones. Anyway, the wait has paid off and now it's all back together and ready for another 50 years of service.
