Securing entry doors? what's yalls ideas?

On a more serious note, while my "items" are valuable to me, I do carry insurance. Nothing I own cannot be replaced. More so, lock really only keep honest people honest. If someone is determined, they will enter and take what they want. In reality, I am such a shrewd shopper, i'd likely make...

3M White Board & Chaulk Board Tape

Re: 3M White Board & Chaulk Board Tape the problem I see is, neither chalk nor dry erase tends to be "smudge" resistant enough for anything i'd have around. most things I label get moved frequently enough that they'd likely get too smuged to read and defeat the purpose of the label.

alright not garage related, but frameless shower related need some engineering help

I have spoken to one of the "managers" and he admitted I got the wrong "lower" hinge for sure. Supposedly the hinge should not have been a perpendicular design, but adjustable of some sort. Its since been escalated to a VP and waiting on a follow up call

you are close but here is a link to almost the exact hinge. as you see the hinge isnt of equal size on both sides and there is part of the issue http://www.crlaurence.com/crlapps/showline/largerimage.aspx?productid=1308

alright not garage related, but frameless shower related need some engineering help

In reality, that was my initial request, but the sales rep was trying to match a quote from a yr ago when I first started looking into it and to cut costs, switched sides as the stationary glass on the hinge side is 1/2" vs 3/8" like the door and other side.

alright not garage related, but frameless shower related need some engineering help

you'd have to see it probably as taking pictures isnt conveying the issue. the way the glass "sits" into the hinge on each side is different, also something you dont probably see is the glass is mitered on the stationary piece so that also dictates the swing and clearance part for the moving...

alright not garage related, but frameless shower related need some engineering help

actually due to the design of the hinge, flipping the hinge changes the "closed" angle because of how the glass sits into the hinge and doesnt line up at the angle required for the door. the instructions go over this part and explain how to orient the hinge as shown

The glass company. I'd rather not name them unless I cant work something out to resolve the issue.

alright not garage related, but frameless shower related need some engineering help

The measurements I took are the pivot points of each hinge to the edge of the stationary glass. so the upper mount sits ~1" inset from the edge and the lower protrudes about 1.25" the opposite direction for roughly 2.25" total distance between the "pins". as for mounting into the door, they...

alright not garage related, but frameless shower related need some engineering help

So here is my dilemma, ordered a shower door from a company online, installed per their directions up to the point below. The door being very heavy and big (over 100#s) I don't want to make any mistakes. In the pics, you will see hinges mounted the the stationary glass and knee wall. the hinges...
