Is the Craftsman 3/8 in. Drive Flex Head Teardrop Ratchet 12" worth buying?

I got the long handled 3/8 flexhead when Sears was having a sale, $9.99. If you don't wrench professionally and can get it for that price do it. It's not the greatest thing in the world but it works.

    Vehicle Maintenance Software

First off how am i being a **** about this? Second keeping track of maintenance on your car is pointless. You don't get more money when you trade it in or sell it if you have a spreadsheet with everything that was done to it. If you want to keep track of stuff because you can't remember what...

    Vehicle Maintenance Software

And as far as that "dinky little checklist" yes it is preventive maintenance and if you follow that you really shouldn't have too many problems with your vehicle. Do you know something the car manufacturers don't?

    Vehicle Maintenance Software

Keeping track of everything you had to fix on your ****** vehicle doesn't mean you care about your car. It means your car breaks all the time and you need to buy something better. As far as annual safety inspections they check everything that can wear out. I probably take better care of my...

You said you didn't want to spend a lot on pliers but then you say you don't want them made in china. If you want usa made pliers at a good price buy channellock or craftsman if you want to pay less buy stanley or kobalt, they work fine i have all those brands and have never had a problem...

good deal on decent quality pliers/sets?

I'd say go to lowe's and buy some kobalt pliers. Good price and lifetime warranty. Better than harbor freight stuff in my opinion. Or go to ace/true value and get some stanley pliers

Also every owner's manual has a checklist in the back with what should be done and at what mileage so why not just use that?

    Vehicle Maintenance Software

Cool. Just wondering because it seems kinda strange to me. Maybe if you live in a state without annual safety inspections it would kinda make sense. Never heard of getting more money on a trade in because you have a record of maintenance done on it

I still buy stuff at Sears. Right now between Christmas and and them losing money you can get all kinds of deals and not just on tools.

Anyone used stanley ratchet and sockets?

You don't return stanley tools to a store. Just call their customer service and they send you a replacement. I don't think the op wants these for daily use. I think he wants them more for home use.
