Drives 4X10 ft beam sounds pretty heavy and hefty, so making one like you ask depends on what it must support. If I were to try that, I would use Locktite construction glue and the heaviest screws (galvanized) that I could find. I would prefer to buy treated (if exterior work) 2X10's and not...
