    Show off your lifts!!!

Some very nice__working__shops! Now with just two (2) 2-post lifts, I feel so inadequate; must be lift-envy ;)

    Mini-split A/C Shopping...

Yep, they may even be the same part number! I recently discovered that the '95 and earlier LCAs are a different pt #, based on a revised castor setting (?)... Going to be playing with some in a little while, as I "steal" the Stoptech BBK off a '95 M3 i'll be selling, and putting them (and if...

BendPak 4 Post / 2 Post Lift Group Buy

I have nothing to add or subtract to the group buy effort, but just wanted to say that 2-1/2 years in, with my Bendpak XPR10A, and it's the least thing I have to worry about in the shop. Completely trouble-free (and I am not affiliated with Bendpak or any of their dealers/installers in any...

How many posts to access the classifieds?

I'm guessing because I only have a dozen posts, that it won't let me make an offer on the Craftsman socket set? Can one of the moderators confirm? I've been around here a long time, just not a real frequent poster__definitely not a troll though

    Show off your lifts!!!

This thread is worthy of reviving, so a couple pictures to update it. Not so much a new lift, as something new to put on the lift(s). For all the ///M Coupes I've worked on__including this one in the past__this is the first one I'm buying (just need to fork over the cash, but nobody seems to...

    Show off your lifts!!!

Been working on getting settled in the new place for the last couple of months, plus trying to get back to work (3rd car since getting here is currently under the knfe). I brought my old Eagle floorplate lift to use in the clean garage; this will be primarily for keeping my own cars on, and...

30x36 Concrete block Garage with 13ft walls

Posted in hvac section: http://garagejournal.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2366129&postcount=199 Yours is coming along nicely, and I'm already making a mess in mine ;)

30x36 Concrete block Garage with 13ft walls

Wow, nice garage! Almost what I have ;) We just moved into a new house in SWFL six (6) weeks ago, and the builder built me a similar (35 D x 30 W x 12 H) concrete block bldg. He did the detached garage at cost plus ten percent, and I have to say, my build cost so far is very close to 10% over...

    Mini-split A/C Shopping...

After deliberating, and listening to the local professionals, I opted for a conventional "apartment" unit. I was going to go with a ceiling mounted air-handler, but Guy #2 suggested this wall-hung unit. His reasoning being that it would be a lot easier to clean the (washable) filter element...

    Show off your lifts!!!

I find that waxing the rocker panels and under the bumpers with the cars on a lift makes that job a whole lot easier (as I get older...). Just in case you haven't discovered that excuse yet

    Show off your lifts!!!

Wow! I've frequently "joked" about putting a tray ceiling in the garage (there's already one in the master bedroom directly above this portion of the garage). I really like the amount of space you have around your work area too! I'm pretty sure that I've never seen so many Certificates of...

    Show off your lifts!!!

Interestingly enough, I just came in for dinner, and I'm about halfway through tearing my lift down! A shipping container will arrive tomorrow (btwn 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM) and the 9k# floorplate (2-post) lift will be the first thing to go in. In another month, April 27, 2012, if the builder is...

Best price I found on spiked shoes...

A decent pair of side-cutters would quickly render those spikes down to 1/2" or 3/4" long... ... just don't drag your feet when you walk ;)

    Show off your lifts!!!

Eagle FP 9000 In constant use, in fact, all jobs are booked based on when the lift will be open. Additional lifts would be nice, but as I'm the only guy doing the work, there wouldn't be much point ;) Hmm, I guess I never realised how hard ot was to get a picture of the actual lift...

    Lights in the floor

Does anyone have any updates on this subject? If all goes as planned, I'll be doing the electrical installation in a house being built for us around Sarasota. I'd like to include infloor lighting under a 2-post lift while doing the rest of the stub-ups prior to "the pour". Thanks in advance...
