I replied to this question on DIY too... I agree with Christine - 1 thick coat is the way to go in most cases, but she makes a good point - verify that with the manufacturer of your specific epoxy. Good luck!

This really comes down to preference... It depends on the look you like. Personally, I prefer a medium-density spread of 2-3 complimentary colored flakes.

Hi Mustang, I am really not a fan of the rollout mat floors... I don't think mold is a major issue to contend with; I have never encountered mold caused from the rollouts, but mildew could be another story. Do you live in a cold-winter climate? I'd be more concerned about trapped water...
