Here are a couple layout. not sure what to use. It ranges from 20-31 lights. The black lines are the truss's. I will have to put at-least 2 or 3 on the outside truss no matter what i do b/c there is a dead shadow spot there now with just the 2 fixtures i hung last night.

The link you posted is the one i am looking at. I have the ability to replace the ballast and with it being an employee purchase they warranty them at store for 3 years. a year longer than the manufacturers 2 year.

Automotive. And yes i know that the color rendering will be wrong but the halids are not the main source of light.

    Walmart 4ft f32t8 fixture

I have a buddy that is an electrician so i get all boxes, wiring and outlets at cost so not worried about that. Would rather them be plug and play since if one goes bad it is easier to replace. On the other hand i do not have a code restriction since i am in the county and have already checked...

The bulbs are 5000k and 6100 lumens per fixture. I have been trying to figure out how much light loss is at the actually 12.5 ft from floor. I could always hang them lower around 8 or so but i am afraid at that point i wouldn't get the light spread. I am looking at atleast 4 runs of 5 bulbs...

    Lighting and CLF

Just found an easier solution really. Walmart sells a 4ft T8 dual fixture for 11.00. you can get good bulbs for 1.87 each through 1000 bulbs. so you would have $15.73 in each fixture. More light and better light distribution.

    Metal halide in paint booth.

It wouldn't even have to be glass it could just be the diffuser and only let the bottom through. Yes i know it wouldn't be the correct color but we have 2 booths and primer and sanding booth and a paint and clear booth. The paint and clear booth has 5000k t8 fixtures.

CFL vs Metal Halide cost and shadows with low ceiling

ok so i have been able to order if i want to 48" 32 watt dual bulb T8 fixtures for 11.00 each. I have thought about putting them in this formation. 4 rows of 5. spacing them evenly. this would give me about 122000 lumans to where my 4 metal halids with new bulbs would give me 132000 lumans. The...
