I have have been using the Harbor Freight set for around 10 years doing truck upfitter work with no signs of tip deformation,I make a mark with them and then switch to a heavier punch as they are made for.
I have the snap on brand and they work great ,I went with them because the the metal is blackend tool steel rather than chrome and I figured they would hold up better.
I have a 5S that I purchased used and abused,it does have tiny rust bubbles in wierd places just a random spot mid panel here and there.
The drawer slides are warrantied so no worries there,I have replaced 5 or so on their dime.
Yup they have been having some pretty good clearance sales on Kobalt stuff.
I'm not sure how I feel about the Craftsman brand anymore Sears kinda burned us in my area by closing all of their stores making warranty of broken sockets impossible for several years.
