MB 8800 MAC Box Opinions ?????

No they don't open up on those, just the roll carts and top boxes. That looks like a sweet deal!

    Attention: HF multifunction tool users

I found the one that comes with screwdrivers, doesn't say the spec, but shows 1.9 amps vs 1.6 amps and looks exactly the same. I think they're not too serious on specs. Might be a messup on the net. Maybe false advertising? http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=66653

    Macsimizer Utility Cart pics, plz

Its not the MB1300, but its a MB190 I got a few years back for around $600. I just saw the new ones go for $830 now. Interested in the MB1300 as well. The MB190 only holds 75lbs per drawer. I think the MB1300 is 100lbs each. The MB190 is 36"wide x 20" D x 42" H. Also stainless steel top folds...

    Air Compressor Noise

Oh thanks! I never thought about that, eliminate hard metal contact plus vibration on the anchors too. That should definately help some on this loud single stage I have.

    Air Compressor Noise

Good idea on those vibration isolators, especially hockey pucks!! I used some left over rubberized carpet from car stereo stuff I had laying around. Folded into a square. And made an easy drain too.

    Air Compressor Receiver Tank ???

I agree it can be from 60-120 gallon tanks, its really all about CFM. If you need more air, you need a bigger pump.

    Compressor or a Lift

I think if theres alot more bodywork ahead, than maybe a nice score on a 2 stage compressor. If more time is spent on brakes, suspension and engine work, maybe a lift in favor since you have a 20 gal for now.

    Air outlets

Hi Red! I don't feel the floor shaking as much than on wood, also less heat and vibration on the tank can only help. Like the longevity of the compressor as well. But I like to overdue things a bit. When I searched on prices of vibration isolators some can be expensive. So I found this left...

    Air outlets

Cool info there Robert! I completely agree on sloping away from the tank, why not go with the flow and gravity and less in the tank, either way will work and some prefer to the tank. Also have a simple and easy ball valve drain at the bottom. Made my own vibration isolators and anchored it...

    Air outlets

I have some pics from a few years back I'd like to share. My main intent is clean dry air for paint. Overkill on piping the drops, really wanted 1/2" piping, but I was on a low bugdet and wanted to use the extra pipes and fittings I had laying around. It was around $10 for 10 feet of 3/4...
