    1/2 cordless impact- Platform question

Hi All, thank you for the suggestions! I am thinking of going the mid torque route as it seems the appropriate size to get in for the suspension work as well! Will keep an eye out as i have a week or two before I have to deal with this :-)

    1/2 cordless impact- Platform question

I can, but I have some suspension work coming up as well, so ideally I would have a tool that will assist with that as well (Like the smaller mid torque model) I have gotten by with a breaker bar thus far in life, and could probably continue, but hey, looking for a glow up :)

    1/2 cordless impact- Platform question

It is on the list and not an issue of funding. The electrical is major surgery that is going to require several months lead time for an electrician. The house panel needs to be replaced as well. If it was just running off of a modern box, I would have done it already. Even if I did though. I...

    1/2 cordless impact- Platform question

Yowza, so I jusst checked prices , holy hell. But fair enough. Buy quality. Seems the 2767 high torque tool is roughly 450 Just as a point of comparison, there is someone in our forum selling a snap on 1/2 cordless impact with 2 batteries for 540 shipped. Is the snap on setup with a look? Or...

    1/2 cordless impact- Platform question

Hi All, back with another question I currently have the Porter Cable 20V Lithium (what Lowes used to sell) ecosystem. I have roughly 10 tools and 6 batteries. Most everything is going strong and in good shape. I know that Porter Cable is being discontinued at Lowes, and as such I am...

This is fair, however, I reached out to Snap On twice looking for a franchise near me, no response. So I gave up. But your point is valid.

    Corded vs cordless tools

FWIW, I bought my 20V porter Cable set 8-10 years ago, and they are in excellent condition, never burned out a battery, and an still able to easily find new batteries if I wanted. I have corded tools for certain jobs, jigsaws, hammer drill, circ saw. But the cordless tools are my daily drivers...

The what if…. Thread (may help out younger members)

Biggest thing for me would have been more storage, i have had to buy 3 boxes over the years and I finally, 10 years after buying my first house, have a tool box big enough. As a Diy'er tinkerer/prosumer, biggest things would be this Large Mechanics tool set Largest (Most power) midrange...

Is there a reason I wouldn't want the FOD version of the ratchet? How can I identify one vs regular if I am looking on Ebay? Thank you for the link!

    Upgrading ratchets

What is the FOD and how can I differentiate them? Never had a flex head, so If I buy one of them, I will probably buy a fixed head as well! Quick release or not is irrelevant, my current ones are quick release and I have never had an issue. And yes, I am just looking to treat myself a bit...
