    Use 5/8 on common walls. Walls used by both living space and garage. 1/2 everywhere else. 5/8 is fire resistant.

    Kick down door holder. Magnetic hold open. Door stop with a hook. Lots of ways to hold a door open. "Man door" = door for men to use.

    I have a nice back yard shop. I built it to get out of the house and have a warm place to work on my cars, do small welding and wood working projects. With the slow down in the economy I now find that I have more time and less money. I am looking for things to do out there to make extra money...

    Feedback on Lincoln Electric Pro-Mig 140

    I agree with ^. I run a construction service company. We have sp125's 135's and 140's. the 140's are the best but, no where near a 220/ dual voltage machine. Definitely get it from a welding supply shop. They are different machines. Look at Miller if you have the $. Best welder a I have ever owned.

    Sound deadening?

    I am just finishing the drywall on my 24x40 shop and I cant stand the echos I am getting inside , it sounds like I'm in a cave. Is this a problem, or will it all go away when I move all my stuff in. What has been your experience.
