I may be too drunk, or i may be too excited for no reason. In any case, this DCL050 is a must have!

Today i picked up a DCL050 with a free 4.0 AH battery. Then two hours later i drove 20 minutes to a different HD and picked up two more. (in order to property present the importance of a 20 min drive....to me that is a long drive).

Anyhow, HD online makes it appear as if its a 3.0AH batt is included. While in fact it is 4.0 . for 75$. With a lowes 10% or military youre at 68$. DCB204 is an easy 50 even on ebay, so an extra 20 for the ligth is a steal.

The amount of light this puts out is amazing.

I have the dcl040 that i've been using for a good year. LOVE IT. Runs for ever but spectrum of light is very narrow. 050 on the other hand, is a night light on steroids. I picked up an extra one to sell , but now thinking of keeping it on the night stand on my bed as a replacement for a lamp(yearh pretty redneck, but i have no socket near by).

Strongly advise while supplies last, its an in store only . And very sadly i was a bit late for this deal, no more local lights here in vb....

Except battery pictured is a DCB207, an economy 1.3AH batt with no "fuel guage" going for roughly 25$. Ofcourse it may not necessarily come with one....in fact i see nothing where it says light comes with a battery at all.

This looks like a nice light. Does anyone have an extra charger they don't need? I could trade an m12 charger.

Thanks,
Robert

make sure you can get the light first out of 4 local depots onlyh 2 had these left. i have an extra one though, new 12/20v out of an impact kit in-laws got me. something around 30 would make me happy, if you decide drop me a line.

i think i know where the m12 came from haha

Could be out of stock in the store you selected as pick up. Give them a call and ask the guy to physicaly put hand on it. I caught on to this deal pretty late, not a lot left. Maybe try other stores.

Picked up 2 at my local store, thanks for the heads up. The website said they had 2 in stock and there turned out to be 3 on the shelf, not normally the case.

I snagged it today as well, then blinded myself with the light. Damn.

You mean they're brighter than the Harbor Freight freebie ones?

Dewalt makes some nice tools. I went the Ryobi route myself -- mainly out of cost. I'd rather have gone Dewalt/Milwaukee.

Got the last one at my local HD, was able to use a 20% coupon printed from a Google search and ended up paying $60+tax. Thanks OP for the lead!

Glad to hear its working out for you guys.

My DCL040 came in today(sold used one on cl for 35 bought new one one bay for 32 lol, but that was before i knew of 050). Anyhow, 050 is no replacement for the 40, up close its great but the beam fades out over greater distances. Noticed it up in my attic today.

I think i'll keep both lights. Neither can replace the other and both are awesome.

Went up to Memphis for work and happened to find one in store. It was on a random hanger next to the chop saws for some reason. Nobody that worked there knew anything about them.

THANK YOU! Acuretechva. On 11/8 I went to Home Depot and bought the Dewalt 20v brushless combo that was $369 and this light for $119 and that triggered the $150 off promo. After seeing that the light dropped to $75 I called to ask if they would return the difference. They said no. They only price protect for 14 days. But they have a 90 day refund policy so I walked over to tools and grabbed the exact same drill combo and light and paid cash for it. I'm going to take it back tomorrow using my original receipt and get my $45 that way.

I would have returned it on the spot to just prove a point but good on you for catching a great deal :D

Anyone know how this compares to the Ridgid 18V? I checked for color temp and lumens Ridgid, but no luck....

Been looking for a cordless light, but already committed to Ridgid 18V
