    1/4"dr 1/2" semi deep socket brands?

    Any suggestions for brands other than Snap On (none in stock in the UK until May or there abouts) I have a ratcheting ring spanner that I could use but am trying to justify my long handled 1/4" ratchet purchase....

    Torx T17???

    Is torx T17 a thing? Doing some work on the car, T15 bit too small though just about works, T20 too big to fit.

    Pipe Vise

    Anyone got any experience of these? Thinking might be useful holding pipes while brazing etc.

    Reverse slot head screw

    Had to strip a replacement pump motor yesterday to rotate the pump so the delivery pipe lined up with the one it was replacing. The motor end bells were held on with four long bolts about 4mm diameter, the problem in undoing them was the heads instead of having a female slot for a screwdriver...

    Tool Box Covers

    I have treated myself to a Hazet mini Assistent for mobile repair work, now i have got it i am wanting to keep it looking tidy for as long as possible. The Assistent will live in the back of the service truck so i am thinking about getting a cover made :rolleyes: to stop it getting scratched etc...

    9mm fasteners?

    Bought some Gedore spanners on ebay, mixed styles, think they are old stock clearance. Anyway there is a 9mm ratchet spanner and am curious where you would find 9mm headed fasteners used as i can't recall ever seeing one!

    I was looking on ebay for a Hazet Assistent and stumbled across Gedore, after being outbid on the first two ones i spotted i was lucky enough to get this one.

    Flag Crimp Tool

    Occasionally i need to replace failed crimps on hvac motor terminals, and also capacitors. Often there is not enough room to use a standard push on crimp as it would foul the electrical cover. Does anyone have any recommendations for a tool that produces good results? Am thinking of trying...

    Been thinking about getting a Porter-Cable 12v drill/impact driver set after seeing one on a friends hvac youtube channel. I fancy something different from the Makita 10.8v equivalents that are available here. Just after some opinions good or bad as i would have to pay a fair bit of shipping...
