I have both imported and domestic Williams and find them high quality. They are not 'as good' as my snap on stuff, but I put them on par with gear wrench, sk, and other name brands. I am looking out to purchase some new pry bars soon from them.
Just did the same thing as you but swapped autos in a 3.0 4Runner.
I used a small floor jack to give some extra support to the transfer case area and it also helped with cocking the trans and alleviating some weight. I have no complaints with my HF trans jack.

I have the northern version of the above. I love it, cuts through 1/4 and 5/16 like butter.
