    The Mews Garage, England

I've updated all the pictures, except the render repair ones - I don't have these to hand, but here is a look around update for the garage as it is today: Major changes - the Caterham has red leather seats now, the number plate board still hasn't gone back up, it's...

Thanks Spider - I've spent another couple of hours updating some more - still need a few updates on pages 8 and 9, but almost there!

Given I was on Imageshack to start with, and had to relink them them all in 2016, and now again from Photobucket, I suspect this won't be the last time!!

    The Mews Garage, England

Well, after this thread being out of action since the PhotoBucket Grand Sale, I've started to relink the pictures after finding a way to do this from Google Pictures. It'll take a few days to get it all back up to date. Cheers Ian

So, all my pictures are lost as the PhotoBucket site has gone paid. Editing all the links for 10 plus pages is not an activity I'm looking forward to - any suggestions if there is an easier work around, or suggestions where I can host all my images again?

    My UK garage

Fantastic! I'm sure our US cousins would be amazed how small garages are in the UK. Are you tempted to remove the dividing wall between the two garages so a car you are detailing can be parked centrally with good access to all sides?

Ray, I missed your question about the 'tunage' - yes I'm the same - I need tunes - but I tend to be happy with the radio - you can just see the Bosch radio on the workbench here: y'sguy - agreed it would have been nice to keep the brickwork visible, both inside and outside - but needs must. I...

Thanks! - The Red handled screwdrivers are wera - but not special - I just saw them on Amazon. I have no great update, as the garage is just getting used, but I thought a quick look around as it is now would be in order: But due to broken picture links, please see new update on page 11.

Ray - many thanks!! And now a quick update. After always putting the Caterham around the corner by jacking her up and placing on skates and pushing her bodily, which got old real quick - I realized I needed another way to put the seven away. sooner or later I was going to injure myself trying...

Garage Door Power So all this time, the garage door has been working off an extension cable. Not ideal. I finally arranged for a switched spur and socket to run the garage door: New spur point: And a short conduit run to a socket by the door control gear: Another job ticked off the list!

Thanks everyone for the kind words - the garage is coming on - I really enjoy getting out there doing jobs on the cars and general maintenance. will, The Eco-tiles are holding up really well, but I do park the cars on carpet off-cuts and those rubber backed carpet mats to protect the tiles...

Totally agree Bib, the old render was grim and dragged the house down. Although my preferred option would have been to expose the brick - it was too far gone and looked poor, although it still was strong and functional. Applying the 'sharp' render was the next best option. In further news - I...

    Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT Fas-Tel's 38x24

Could you not put the back wall of the garage on the set-back line? Then the turn into the garage would be less severe, and you could keep that tree presently in the middle of the new drive?

Victorian (1880s) Townhouse - from Carriage house to Track Day Heaven

I was wondering what had happened with this one! Good to see you back - and great cars too! I can't see the plans you posted previously of the new two car - can you kindly repost?

All the moving of items today allowed me to place a tool board in the old position of the telephone desk: And now start fitting tools to this board so finally I have full access again to the workbench top.
