    Harbor Freight 72" Roller Cabinet...

I don't get the math here, so 10 drawers at 100# and 3 drawers with double slides (200# each) makes a 2,600# capacity? I'm thinking those bigger drawers are going to be real easy to overload. The long single drawers are going to be worse.

HOT Deal on Deadblow Hammers at Trustyhammers.com

Dropped an order today for a couple of sets (mechanics and heavy equipment mechanics), thanks for the promo, I've been wanting some quality dead blows, especially a sledge and some larger dead blows, I've ruined new HF ones on a single job. For the guys complaining about shipping, their ebay...

What to do when the box is full?

I've also gone through and cut the lids off cases I wanted to keep the bottom half of for organization and even gone as far as chopping up the bottom portion or other plastic organizers to maximize area. Here's an example, big wrenches and 3/4" sets before: All together now, along with...

What to do when the box is full?

Consolidate/reorganize/better placement. I thought I had my 72" Montezuma chest/cab/lockers completely full already, went through and got rid of some cases, moved other items around, got a couple of things out and threw them up on top (couple cheap but big cased slide pullers). Moved a bunch...

How did you unload your lift

Depending on the lift, 12' Uhaul may not be long enough. Picked my four post up at the dealer on my trailer and hauled it home. Simply backed the trailer up to the shop and took apart/unloaded/assembled it as I went, I even drug the runways off by myself and installed. Two post shipped into...

NEARY grinding equipment....anyone use them at work???

I have a slightly newer one from when I used to landscape (makes sharpening 20+ blades a week much easier). Mine's single phase, not sure if three phase was available, but it would be simple to repower. The angle/plate on the left side is an some hack fab for whatever they were specifically...

tips and tricks for using a 4 post lift?

Could, but it would be a PITA. I have two standard RJ's for mine. As said, longer ramps (I got the Race Rack ones) and I'm gonna have to steal the mirror idea. The 2x12 trick is pretty smart, luckily my Mustang doesn't sit quite that low, but I still have to remove the rubber pads from the...

Powerstroke on 2 post lift... Issues

Not really, I can hang off the bumper with no issue and have rocked it around pretty hard to make sure it was stable. Those trucks are stupid front heavy. Probably right at 9" of adapter on the back, whatever the large and medium size ones added together are.

Powerstroke on 2 post lift... Issues

Ahh, must be the Xcab's, because I don't lift the crews back that far, even my lifted OBS (grab the SD CC's in the same place): I actually bought the frame cradles and an extra set of truck adapters from Greg Smith to use with my Bendpak: http://www.gregsmithequipment.com/adapters-and-pads

Powerstroke on 2 post lift... Issues

Are these chassis trucks? 2wd or 4wd? I did the balljoints on my dad's 2k F250 4wd before Xmas and don't remember stacking adapters that high and he has the stock running boards on his. I have the regular XPR 10 albeit 168 height.

    Large socket orgnaization ideas?

It's not the size that counts :D Actually those are 10 & 12", they just look small next to a 2 1/2" wrench

    Large socket orgnaization ideas?

Guess you wouldn't like my drawer then :lol_hitti : The dowel setup came with the little red Montgomery Ward tool box I got with the SAE sockets when I bought them off ebay. The blow molded case for the metric is the HF setup with the lid cut off.

Cell phone reception in pole barn

It's 5F here this morning, you really wanna go outside to make a call?:wtf: The repeaters only help if you have good signal outside, they can't boost a non existent signal. Because of how high I was able to mount our antennas we usually have at least as good if not better reception inside...

Cell phone reception in pole barn

I live in my shop and when we changed our plans around a few months back and got rid of the house phone, we realized how bad it was. Since we needed voice 3G/4G and LTE for the data on the phones and tablet, we got this set...
