Re: what did you do in your garage today?
We have a deluxe model at work. I picked up one at an Estate like the one posted here (the box looked terrible, but it was new. never used).
Never had an issue with it or my bits after using it. I'm satisfied. There is an attachment available tor...
Pics are too small to see the detail. But I'd borrow Miley's sledgehammer and start swinging it.
Go back with new with some wire reinforcement.
And don't forget to go to the intro page to introduce yourself.
Re: what did you do in your garage today?
Today (after a wicked painful shoulder therapy session), I replaced the door lock solenoid in the passenger door (it was bad when I bought the truck). Then, since I already had the panel off and the kit on the shelf, I installed the after market...
All guys like those little stools to sit on doing a brake job, etc.
We had an office chair at work with a broken plastic arm. I snagged it on it's way to the dumpster. Removed the arms and back, keeping just the base.
It's far more comfortable than the wheel around seats they hawk off the tool...
I have eight cases of motor oil in my garage attic.
If the place ever catches fire, it'll look like a burn off pit in south Louisana.
All other consumables (vehicular and home project) go on shelves that I'm planning to add doors to.
Human consumables go in the lil' dorm fridge o' course.
Re: what did you do in your garage today?
Swept, sweated, organized, sweated, cleaned, sweated, measure cabinet openings for the doors, sweated, sweated, sweated and then I sweated.
100* today.
Re: what did you do in your garage today?
Can the stationary blade (bedknives) be replaced or duplicated? Ask some golf grounds keepers or lawn care guys (the ones with trailers that mow yards for rich people).
Re: what did you do in your garage today?
My cuzzin's ran Hilborn like that in a small block powered '51 Crosley. They had to grind some away in that area, the linkage cleared fine, but the Heim joint hit the ribs.
Looks great. Can't wait for the final pics!
Re: what did you do in your garage today?
I don't know.....
Cudachick out in the garage blasting a Hilborn FI setup and Kevin out buying flowers.
Has this world gone mad?
:wtf:
Jes' kiddin' ya'll..... :bounce:
He was asking $200 for all four sets. When I told him I can still get new sets for $39.95 at a Dallas office furniture place we settled on $15 per unit. I had to make the long drive but it was worth it to me to get the ones I want. The first three sets I already had were free from an upgrade at...
That's exactly what the old guy who owned my place built. But he used 2 x 6's for the top and all kind of small **** falls into the joints. My plan is to rebuild it and using 3" x 3" angle iron in the same cantilevered fashion. For the top, I'm searching for a used butcher block, bowling alley...
After 8 months of listing a 'wanted' thread on CL, one guy came up with my drawers! And for a killer price! I now have plenty to mount under my workbench and get all the tools and supplies put away. And these things are stackable. Each drawer can be disassembled and setup in the way I want for...
I guess nobody has anything to offer up on your plans. I have been watching the thread since I too want to build such a lean to for garden tool storage (aka, get those tools out of my garage....).
Here's a picture of mine.
The mount is two lengths of 1 1/2" angle iron welded flat to flat and cut to fit the truss angles.
The other reel is a Bayco drop light reel.
