    Just picked these up the other day. Little rough on the outside. Could use some TLC. But everything works like factory new. The born on dates are 66, 67 and 74. All of the boxes came chock full of tools. Some **** tools but most were definitely keepable.

    HAHAH man thought so. It's funny cause I sent that add to my wife, she's up in OH with her parents while I am deployed. I said I need you to go pick this up, her reply was NO WAY you enough..haha.. plus it wouldn't fit in her car..lol. glad you got it man.. it looks tough

    Man I wish they would have stayed with those types of slides over the friction slides. I have one like it as well and to this day it's still smoother then the others.

    Craftsman Drill Press

    I'd have to completely agree with Frank. All my presses are foot switch wired. Love not having to reach around the machine to start and stop it, especially if something bad happens, knock on wood. Although mine are not newer foot pedals like the one in the picture.

    Novus polish is what I use and works very good. It's not a miracle maker but gets the job done. I also use it on my welding hood and headlights.

    Nice write up buddy. You can also see in the pictures I posted that the slide section was also made different. The black slide is V shaped where the silver is more of a U shaped... And my 75 lower box has the badge where the letters are not cut out. Guess they got cheap and didn't want to spend...
