    mechanic tools

Ah! But buy Canadian whenever you can first. :bounce: I've used Gray Tools for over 25 years (ratchets, sockets, wrenches, etc.) and broke a couple of chrome sockets due to me using it on a impact gun for many years and a wrench due to a cheater bar for leavage. But in the same breath, I've...

    mechanic tools

Gray Tools are still around. Ackland Grainger carrys some of their hand tools in their cataloque and Source One carries them in their tool truck that goes around to all the mechanical shops. They are a great Canadian tool company.

    Tool Box ideas?

If you check my posting location, I live in Canada also too! I know in rural Canada, there may be areas where there is no mobile tool dealers avaliable, but there has to be a pawn shop or second hand dealer who may just keep your name and phone number if a nice box or combo unit shows up...

    Tool Box ideas?

Next time your local Snap-On or MAC Tools dealer comes by, tell them you're interested in buying a used box or combo set and they'll put their feelers out. Many of their customers trade up for a bigger/newer box but wants someone to take their old one. If the Snap-on/MAC dealer picks it up...

    Signet Tools

We have a moblie truck tool dealer that comes around our shop that sells Signet Tools. Their prices are quite reasonable and claim their tools are "Lifetime Guaranteed". Their Signet Tool catalog is about 130 pages which covers quite a bit of tools, but not as much as a "Snap-On or MAC Tools...

    18v Kits

At the same time, I've also purchased the Dewalt 18 volt cordless tool set less the...

Let's see what's in your toolbox.

Here's my MAC Tool chest & roller cabinet that I've brought about 25 years ago. The smaller tool chest next to MAC Tools cabinets is for my overflow tools. I'm looking at buying a larger unit because my drawers are at capacity and it's awkward trying to find the tool underneath as you can see...

    Let's see your toolbox.

I believe they are first generation MAC Tool boxes before they changed the handle from the round type to square box type. I've worked many years ago with a since retired heavy duty mechanic who own such a box and that's what inspired me to purchased a MAC Tool box over a Snap On version. They...

    Let's see your toolbox.

Here's a few photo of my tool boxes. The MAC Tool chest/cabinet was purchased new about 25 years ago. The smaller chest next to it is for my overflow tools and small mechanical projects so I don't have to wheel out the larger one to the driveway. As you can see, I'm looking to purchase...
