Craftsman 36" Pry Bar with Strike Cap, USA $11.99 on Sears.com

I just realized my 36" is bowed. Nothing crazy, but I did not notice in stores. A closer inspection at home revealed the issue. Do you guys think I should go back to Sears and have them order a new one (the one I got was the last one). Or should I contact Craftsman. I would be shocked if they...

Craftsman 36" Pry Bar with Strike Cap, USA $11.99 on Sears.com

Same with my local Sears, but mine only had one 36" on the peg. Online price match was not an issue. I've come to realize that their website is not accurate in terms of showing what is/is not stocked locally.

    New craftsman pry bars.

Bumping this thread... I had to run to the mall earlier tonight. There is a Sears store attached to it, so I decided to park in front of Sears rather than the busy main mall entrance. I just so happened to enter through the tools/home and garden/appliance section, so naturally I browse. There...

    USA Husky Torque Wrench

Today I found a "Made in USA" Husky torque wrench at my local Home Depot. The specific torque wrench is the 1/2" model (Husky 564464). It is advertised as a 50-250 ft lbs rating, but the settings on the tool range from 25-250 ft lbs. The factory calibration appears really accurate and consistent...

Sunex Impact Sockets On Sale (Amazon)

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it doesn't appear that Sunex provides a lifetime warranty on impact sockets. Here is the link to their warranty info - http://www.sunextools.com/index.cfm?p=4 On the bottom of the page and in bold lettering it says: "Lifetime Warranty Exceptions - Impact...

Craftsman 18 in. Pipe Wrench, Steel, USA $19.99 on Sears.com

Happened to me too when I ordered mine at around 11:30 PM. The $17.99 price never showed up. I still ordered it. When I go to pick it up today I will ask about not receiving the 10% discount. I doubt they will do anything about it, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Are you guys referring to the HF jack I posted in my original post? Or another model?

Help me buy my first floor jack

I'm looking to buy my first floor jack and hoping you guys with much more experience than me can help me out. The budget I have set is $150 and would like the jack to last me for decades to come. My dad has an old Craftsman 2 ton jack from the 80's that still works like new, but I know Craftsman...

    Tekton Torque Wrench

I was originally thinking the answer was the HF torque wrench. However, the more I research the more negative reviews I find regarding it's inconsistency. Some say theirs works great while others say it's junk.

    Tekton Torque Wrench

Would the torque wrench offerings from Tekton be a good choice for a hobbyist that likes to wrench on his own cars? Most tasks will include lug nuts, oil drain bolts, oil filters, and other basic DIY maintenance.

    Deck stains.....

Could someone point me in the right direction when in comes to stripping off the current stain on my deck? I believe it's made from pressure treated lumber. Just for the heck of it, I tried my 2,000 psi Sun Joe electric pressure washer with the 15 degree nozzle. While it worked, it required me...

    Between 485 & 705 SQ/FT Mid-Century Moto Mecca Makeover

Superb craftsmanship! If you ever change your mind about producing the SKX bezels, I can point you towards SKX cult members that would purchase them. Heck, I'd love to purchase a bezel or two myself! Keep up the great work. Kevin

    DIYer Hex Sockets

It seems the VIM, ATD, and Neiko sets are all very similar. I wonder if they are made from the same Taiwan manufacturer?

    Oil Filter Tools

Can you suggest a solid and reliable oil filter tool? Which style is the best to be used for various applications ranging from cars, motorcycles, and tractors? The common options seem to be oil filter specific pliers, strap style, 3 jaw style, and the socket style. What has given you the best...

Modifications to the HF 4 and 5 drawer service carts - what changes have you made?

Just picked up the 5 drawer cart. What did you guys use to remove the "drawer lock" sticker residue? I tried dishwasher liquid soap and water, no luck. Then tried goo gone, no luck. Any suggestions that won't damage the paint?

Needing new screwdrivers. Help with selection.

The Williams drivers mentioned seem very popular on here. I'm close to ordering a set. I recall a few threads complaining about how one of the Phillips #2 size driver not being the best fit. Maybe something to keep in mind?
