Maybe he can get it done by warm weather. 3 mm (0.120") should actually do pretty good so long as the water is not boiling in the tube and the fire is not too robust.

I see you have several styles of storage tubs. I was afraid you'd take a bath on container selection.

Any reason you didn't just go with the smaller tubing? You'll be getting water in through the pin hole so make sure you've got a way to get it out. Looks great!

My current shop is 16'. It's never been too tall. A scissor lift would be great for setting up walls. Just pay attention, they are not designed for lifting loads so watch the capacity and potential for tipping.

I have a concern. Do you have a means to release excess water pressure as it expands with the heat? I didn't see an open tank or relief valve but of course the pictures don't show everything.

Get your concrete guy finished up and build it yourself. The only tough part will be getting 12' walls on a 2' stemwall. I did that by myself in 1977 by using short sections of wall and pushing them up with 2x4's with one nail so it could swivel. A house I just built had 20 ft walls and I...

Looking really good! Moving your forklift to get a load is pretty cool. Are you building shelves in the container? They sure fill up in a hurry.

Fire retardant properties do break down, primarily with washing and contamination by flammable fibers like cotton but the fabric lasts a long time. Cotton tends to rot in storage so may not last as long. With Global Warming we shouldn't need cold weather gear much longer however, so it's a...

Nomex is also used in refineries to improve survival in a flash fire. Since you can't plan for a fire you wear it all the time. I still have my last four sets of shirts and pants in the closet. But this is relatively thin material, no protection from cold. So if you look for Nomex watch for...
