I picked up a craftsman hand impact driver couple days ago. Vital for getting the torx bolts out of Volvo heavy trucks on the upper radiator hose elbow at the engine, if it has a Cummins ISX. Things are like welded in.

Re: "Whats your favorite tool and why?" Do those smash your knuckles against stuff when they suddenly get the fasteners tight like air ratchets do in tight spaces or do they breakaway somehow?

I really love my Matco extendable 3/4 ratchet I just bought for pulling 90s on head bolts. Makes my life easier.
