    Fuel mix ratio

I work with outboards a lot, and I can honestly say I've not seen anything newer mix anything richer or leaner than 50:1 at WOT. I also agree with the oil properties statement in general, of course, there will be exceptions. I'd say this crosses over to any modern 2-stroke engine. That said, I...

Questions for the Snap On Guys Like Chadster

Wow, that socket looks handy! I have the 2.0 supercharged Ecotec (LSJ) and the oil filter sits RIGHT UNDER the blower snout, you have to weasel a big socket under the blower and hold it steady while you drop an extension through the top...its a pain. I'll be picking up one of these low...

    lubricating ratchets

I hit an old Stanley round head with some of Mercury Marine's 2-4-C, and it worked really well. I didn't use much because it contains Teflon and is sliiiiiick, just enough. It is an extremely resilient grease that is used mainly in outboards and their drives. Its good stuff. :) I was going to...

I'd like to have that convenicence, unfortunately, I don't have a Matco dealer in the area. The only trucks around are Snap-On and Mac. :(

Lost the ball bearing out of my BR8T..

I would try to have it fixed by a dealer, but, there isn't one in my area. Hopefully Matco will come through for me, otherwise this will be a fun search.

Lost the ball bearing out of my BR8T..

Decided to break it down and lube it.. Of course I managed to mess something up. The ball bearing is now sitting somewhere in the kitchen floor. Does anyone know the exact diameter, or could this end in an embarassing call to Matco tomorrow?

    Screwdriver Set Under $50

I would definitely take a look at Toptul's go thru drivers. I'll be placing an order for some in a few weeks, if those tips are half as strong as they appear they'll be worth their weight in gold.

I've loosened a few problem children up with some Rotella I had on hand before, otherwise they don't get lubed.

So I broke My 2nd Matco Ratchet...

ratchet =/= impact wrench or breaker bar If I were you, I'd be using 1/2" drive and a 24" breaker.

Found a small amount of buried treasure in my basement..

Found a lot of stuff left over from the estates of relatives that got moved in. I'm sure it will be appreciated here, a lot needs serious clean up as you can see... Snap-On #2 stubby and F-10 3/8" bar SK 5/8-3/4" combination ratcheting wrench, 3/4" side is broken and doesn't lock...
