Snap On's new EPIC BBQ cook/tool storage system.

Our dealer had one on his truck a few weeks back. Free with purchase of a KRL1032 roll cab, or $1500 (if I remember correctly) by itself. There's one here for $1500 new http://www.azht.net/forum/showthread.php?t=132029 Depending on the quality of the grill it may be worth it.:dunno:

O.K. So I have to ask

I feel like this is something that isn't pointed out too often. I myself tend to shy away from products that are made in China. But I also think that just because its made in China doesn't necessarily mean its a poor quality product. There are different levels of quality in manufacturing...

Any opinions on using "Disc Brake Caliper Lube" on a vise?

The grease that comes with brake pads is just moly grease, it handles high temps and high pressures well. Its probably one of the better grease's for that application.

best tool to remove broken stud.

Bingo, I usually heat the stud read hot then wiggle it loose with some vise grips. If its an area that you cant heat to that level (gaskets, wires, or lines near) than a stud remover might be your only hope. Heat works 95% of the time though.

    Let's see your toolbox.

I love the box, just might trade it in later or add on the side lockers for more space. I only have 1 empty drawer in it after swapping everything over. Yea, worked at a Bobcat/Hyster dealership for 5 years and now work at a hydraulic shop that specializes in commercial fishing boat...

    Let's see your toolbox.

Why thank you :) It sat on the truck for a few months before a deal finally came up to make me pull the trigger.

    Let's see your toolbox.

Just bought it a couple months ago. Kinda wish he would've had an Epiq with the powerbank on the truck, but then again, I'm glad he didn't (more $$$). and a pic of the old box for memories... (still have the top box though)

    hassle with mac tools warranty

Another point. If you bought a new car for 10k, then come to find out the door doesn't line up or it or the transmission won't shift out of 3rd, most dealers would at least be willing to do SOMETHING to make it right... When I bought my Snap-On box the smaller of the 2 full length drawers...

Chrome peeling on snap-on screwdrivers. Anyone else seen this??

I've had the chrome peel on quite a few of my Bluepoint wrenches, dealer always replaced them with no questions though.

    hassle with mac tools warranty

I had a feeling about Mac for a while, a lot of their new stuff just feels cheaper to me, but one visit on the truck a couple months ago kinda showed the quality. The boss was on the truck and needed a 1 1/16 offset wrench and had the fitting in his hand. He was playing around with it while...
