Beta 42 Series Metric Combination Wrenches

I own the Beta 42, and my brothers have Facom and Stahlwille. I dont think there is much difference in the fit and tolerances. They are all good quality brands. I can't say anything about toughness. I have never broken a wrench of any of these brands. There is quite a lot of difference in...

School me on pliers....where to start?

And These are awesome, great for bending plate and stuff, plumbing, electrical fittings, work on copper and other soft material, and so on. They have a big range, good grip, ratcheting action and leave no marks. I cant go without them.

    Do I need 3/8" sockets?

Yes, you won't regret it. The 3/8" drive is not very common in Europe. Even a lot of pro-mechanic dont have one here. I bought a 1/2" and 1/4" set first. But the 3/8" gets the most use. Facom Ratchet made in france?

Their 360 versions are also from Taiwan. They even put a sticker with "Made in Taiwan" on the box. And from my experience I can tell the chrome on the French/Italian versions is much better. I own a 3/8" 360 version and it has already lost a lot of the chrome plating on the head.

    Tools from the old world

Nice box Thom, orange is the best colour for a Beta toolbox! (I dont think a true Dutchman would choose an other colour) I own a Beta toolbox myself, a classic C24 and a lot of Beta tools. I am very pleased with the price/quality ratio on their toolboxes. But now I need some more storage space. I...

    Tools from the old world

Hi guys, I am new here. Been a reader of the forum for a while and decided to make an account. I have these stripping pliers too but with the Weicon brand on it. I have seen them with other brands as well. Jokari, Wiha, Format, Ironside, BGS, Cimco, etc. I can't come up with any tool that is...
