    Tooling organization

Thanks for sharing the drawings. I love seeing other peoples sketches. I use AutoCAD for my day job so I tend to draw EVERYTHING before I start cutting. Even having a drawing I still tweak things as I build them. Glad to see you have the same problem that I do when making cuts and all. Just...

    Tooling organization

Wow the bathroom has turned out awesome. I have learned a lot from this thread. I'm thinking of drinking the green koolaid and I'm curious if you have any regrets with buying the MIDI vacuum? I know that you get a little break with the vacuum price when you buy it with a tool and debating to go...

Your garage is coming along fantastic. I really like those cabinets and I would be just like you, having a hard time not filling up the empty drawers. By the way do you do the same detail process on your wife's Explorer? My wife has the same color Explorer and I've not found something to make...

    The Texas Sea Chest

I built the cabinets out of 2x4 and made the frame and doors out of mdf. I house the kids toys, my table and miter saw and yard tools. I really like your 98 Cobra. I bought a 98 Black Cobra new back in 98 and I do miss that car. I'd like to do some road racing and autocrossing with my 92...

I used standard 2x4's that I anchored to the wall. I used standard hook from the depot that screws into the wood. I'll take some pictures of it tonight to give you some better details of how it goes together. Thanks for all the comments guys!

The family man 2 car garage

Thanks! Here is the only real picture that I have in its raw form. What I did is I used standard 2x4's and I used the kreg pocket hole jig to attach it all. I attached the tirerack to the wall with bolts to the studs. I used 1/2" black pipe to hold the tires. I drilled 3/4" holes for the pipe to...

    Build your own garage cabinet/workbench?

I made the stationary ones out of 2x4's and 1/2" sheets of MDF. You can use all the tools that you have listed to pretty much about anything. The modular cabinet (one on the right) is made out of 1x2 for the shell and wrapped with 1/2" MDF. I just painted them rustoleum red and black. Now my...
