    power socket questions

To put a outlet every 4' along the wall is going to be tough due to the amount of shelving that's going to be in the garage. Right now my thoughts are to put some more sockets in the ceiling and mount extension cord reels up there. I do have a compressor but am not sure whether I'm going to...

I found the problem. There's a bug in the estimator where it will not calculate if you do not select a topcoat option.

    power socket questions

Hey guys, For a 656 sq. ft. garage how many 110V sockets should I have and what size breaker should they be on? I also have a welder that uses a 220V NEMA 50-R plug and for this I'm thinking 2 sockets on the same circuit, one at each end of the garage. Other thoughts?

Cat5 Roughed in How do I finish it?

This is correct EXCEPT if you are going to set up for Gigabit Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet needs all 8 pairs. If you are only going to have 100BaseT speeds you will be fine :)

    bmwpower's garage build

Bmwpower, I'm curious as to what they did with your building permit after the town screw up. Usually here I think building permits are only valid for a year from the date of issue. Did you have to reapply?
