    reasonably priced vernier caliper

call it shocking but my harbor freight vernier caliper is way off under an inch. I would like to find a caliper that will work in some 3d printing because when I measured a part printed to .125 it was read around .20. I thought I was going to have to do some calibration blocks until I used...

Everlast Cyclone 200es vs PrimeWeld MIG 180

Only thing I have had to replace on my 180 was the grounding clamp, fixed it up with a harbor freight clamp. Everything else has been great and got a tig torch from weldmonger for the 180

    Home use exterior/interior paint sprayer

After the help I received with Hardie siding, I would feel remiss if I didn’t ask around for a good paint sprayer. The majority of the spraying will be done on a ladder. I have power and water nearby and have been looking at some of the grayco airless paint sprayers. What can anyone recommend?

    Hardie backer board

between the Diablo Hardie blade I put on my old craftsman sliding mitre saw and the “free” DeWalt oscillating tool I got when I bought two new batteries I didn’t use more than one razor blade on my razor knife. I did however use most of the oscillating tool bits that came in the DeWalt kit for...

    Forgo slab insulation?

I used to work at Ft Campbell and while looking at the sprinkler system and fire alarm panel on a new building in winter I was shocked at how warm my boots were and how cold arm felt he environment was even with a roll up door open. Come to find out it had in floor heat. Even still, if I was...

Using your 3D Printer to repair your vehicle

I’ve used my 3d printer to recreate no longer sold parts for my 81 MasterCraft, some guage pods for my 08 Sierra and soon some for my 85 RX7 im sure. I’d love to get a 3d scanner that didn’t cost a fortune

    Fire Extinguishers

I would recommend a water can for most garage fires, a CO2 for electrical and an ABC last, only because of the mess that is left after an ABC extinguisher was used.

    TMR fixture table

hopefully the table and clamps will allow for an easier time with some projects around the house setting things up on sawhorses or a tailgate will be convenient and standing the fixture table up against the wall when not in use will keep my garage less cluttered

    TMR fixture table

I can get a .025 feeler gauge under a square I’ve had for ages on the 4’ side. The 2’ side didn’t have much for clearance. BUT, it is better than welding or assembling things on the garage floor. I bought some clamps from FireBall and they are all reel nice

    TMR fixture table

I started putting my 5/8” hole 2’x4’ table together yesterday. The shipping of the materials resulted in one box for the table and another for the short and long pieces you weld to the bottom. Assembly was very easy and things went together without any issues. I followed the instructions and...
