    Craftsman AXS 27'' Toolbox

Anyone have any thoughts on this unit? I was in the local Sears tonight and they had the top and bottom both in a clearance aisle. Top's $300 and bottom's $450 iirc.

Starting from scratch after stolen truck had all my tools in it.

Don't know where you are located, but hit up every pawn shop you find. They usually have a bin of sockets to pick from, and you will find USA ones in the mix. I've paid from .10 - .25 each lately. Wrenches averaged $2 each the other day in a mix I bought up to 1".

A Smartphone is a tool, right?

Yes, there are several barcode apps for different things. I have one that will search out by the barcode, and I also have one that will read barcodes of food if you want to diet. Pulls up all the food label info. A lot if interesting apps available.

    Howdy do!

The ratchet/breakover is a TrueCraft from Japan. Frozen up with rust. :( Working the PB Blaster on it. The round ratchets are both SK. One is SK, one is SK - Wayne. The third roundhead is a Taiwan one. I'll get a few more pictures of cleaned stuff, just got tired of messing with this...

    Howdy do!

Found this forum looking for some info on ultrasonic cleaners and have really enjoyed looking around. Funny, been on the net since before Al Gore invented it, and I don't think I've ever set foot in a tool forum. I wanted a USC to try and clean some tools I picked up from a fella at a yard...
