    3/8" torque wrench

That would be a 1/2" with that range.

    This won't last long LOL

All of his other listings are just as bad - $500 for Cman Pro SAE combo wrenches, $200 for 3 piece gasket scraper, $225 for magnetic pickup/mirror, $250 for 2 piece adjustable wrenches. Not sure what his angle is, but he doesn't appear to be a motivated seller.

    This won't last long LOL

He's probably thinking, "I'm getting a lot of views (thanks to GJ) and it should sell soon..."

Not new news; just recent evidence corded power tools are now officially worthless junk

I had that Tilt-lock saw when it first came out. They were $129 at the Depot at the time. It's a good saw, but cords **** and battery power has come a long way. I've been selling off my corded tools with good return - Circ saw, sawzall, polisher, angle grinder and replacing them with M18.

Enjoy 15% Off: NutUp Magnetic Lug Nut / Lug Bolt Holster

Probably going to be a tough sell as magnetic dishes are dirt cheap and sometimes free at HF. Most of us here on GJ also don't have a lift.

Icon Torque Wrench Problem, or not?

Test with multiple torque wrenches, they can't all be off by the same amount. Every device is assumed to be calibrated, the chances of both being off by the exact same amount would be extremely low.

Icon Torque Wrench Problem, or not?

It's a good way to check if it's within reason without having to send it in and spending an asinine amount.

    Innova 5610

It's basically Launch software. I love how it has lifetime updates which is my requirement prior to jumping into the tablet arena, otherwise, I would have held off. I was looking for a step up from the handhelds and with touch screen so I don't have to drill down several menus using push buttons...

    Innova 5610

I love my Thinkcar 689BT. I used to have the 5160 which is the same as the 5610.

Icon Torque Wrench Problem, or not?

Ah, I get it now. He randomly throws out a why not compare to another brand because he felt insulted (or embarrassed) that the precious name of SO was used, then trash talks ICON without any backup.

Icon Torque Wrench Problem, or not?

    So what's wrong with it?

Icon Torque Wrench Problem, or not?

Agreed, but I'm not understanding why you interjected out of nowhere to compare it to Hazet. Anyway, do share what you find wrong with this ICON so we can know if this is a worthy contender.

Icon Torque Wrench Problem, or not?

They could use CDI as well, but they would use the list price of $417. The Snap-On would be a better comparison though since they both have similar tooth count.
  14. V

Icon Torque Wrench Problem, or not?

Why? Snap-On is a recognized household name and the Hazet looks nothing like it to compare with.

Icon Torque Wrench Problem, or not?

If there's no serial number on the wrench itself, the cert is worthless. The serial number is probably nothing more than a date and batch. Even if there was a number on the wrench, you'd have to compare with others and make sure they are indeed unique.

Honda Odyssey Crankshaft Bolt Torque Help - Torque + Angle conversion to Torque

Not true. The vast majority of Honda engines are clockwise rotation. The only ones that are counter clockwise were the 4 cylinder motors with the front of the engine on the driver's side.

We’re Proto challenger wrenches on the longer side or?

The Challenger set I had were standard length similar to Craftsman raised panels.

Extra long metric wrench set at O'Reilly's

Those are zero offset, however, you can get a 5 piece set at Eastwood for the same price if you don't mind the shipping cost involved. https://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-5-piece-extra-long-double-box-end-metric-wrench-set.html

Diagonal flush cutters for plastics and cable ties specifically

You didn't say if COO is important, but I've been happy with the ICON flush cut pliers (Snappy clone) that were on sale not too long ago.
